The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.

Patrick Rafferty Yoga

Patrick Rafferty

Hi, my name is Patrick. I'm an experienced yoga teacher inspired by authenticity, alignment, and tradition. My practice began in Miami over a decade ago while working for a demanding non-profit. In a short period of time, I began to experience an abiding sense of calm. My goal is to teach students to feel empowered by their strength, transformed by their stability, and connected to their clarity.

I completed my initial teacher training in 2010 in training looking to deepen my own practice and share the good I found in Yoga. As a continual learner, I also finished training in meditation, pranayama, yin yoga, and restorative yoga. In 2016, I completed advanced teacher training from renowned teacher Cyndi Lee of OM Yoga.  In 2019, I completed the Yoga Mindset Coaching basic training with Karina Ayn Mirsky. This unique yoga and coaching program integrates yoga (classical & Hatha), psychology (through IFS Internal Family Systems), and neuroscience.

I continue to study Vinyasa with Stacey Brass Russell; Alignment with Katrin Loveland; Yin Yoga with Corina Benner; Restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater; and Meditation with Cyndi Lee.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, films, and my adorable French bulldogs, Julio and Rerun.

Wherever you are in your journey I am here to support you.

It would be my honor to serve your yoga needs.

What Students Say

Patrick is a strong  teacher with a guiding process that has helped me learn how to maximize my practice and push out any discouraging thoughts to keep me focused and clear. One thing that has not changed over the years is his compassion towards his students and his dedication to their evolution as practitioners.

+ Acknowledgement

I want to acknowledge that teachers can cause harm & come from traditions that have been known to perpetuate harm. I want to acknowledge that I have encountered this in my training. This list is those I studied with and impacted my understanding of the world, and a few (thankfully not my dominate experience) have done harm.
