Two Years Online
Two Years Online
Ram Dass released a Netflix documentary shortly before his death called Going Home. It’s so beautiful, it takes my breath away to even think about it. He talked about his stroke and how he responded to it. At one point he says, “I don’t wish you the stroke, but I wish you the grace of the stroke.” I hold onto the quote during tough times. In the midst of chaos, uncertainty, and grief we can look for grace.
One of the graces of the pandemic is that it pushed me outside my comfort zone. It forced me to transition my business online. I have loved it! I recently re-read one of the first messages I sent. I’d love to share it with you. “Part of the draw of Yoga for me is community. I love connecting with students. And though we can't be together in a room, I still feel that connection with you on Zoom!” Two years online and it still holds true. It's still real, vital. I still feel that connection with you on Zoom whether we met in NYC, Miami,The Keys, or some other amazing places.
I am still committed to teaching online for the foreseeable future. I know that I am beginning to be open to the idea of practicing in an enclosed space. I have done a handful of in-person classes. It feels good to be around people. As the weather warms in NYC, I’d love to find a way to gather in person. Until then, I look forward to seeing your faces light up my computer screen.
I hope you will continue to share this virtual space with me. I'll continue to offer Weekly Livestream Flow Yoga, Periodic Livestream Restore Yoga, and through my Upgraded On-Demand Library.
